Q. What is a Smart property address?
A. A smart property address is a dedicated domain name for your property
usually made up from the street address of the property. For example
if the street address of your property was '12 Acacia Avenue Main
Beac'h the smart address or domain name would be www.6AcaciaAvenueMainBeach.com.
This would be totally unique to your property. Your property would
now have its own identity on the Internet or World Wide Web just like
it would have it's own street address in Main Beach.
Q. How much does it cost to submit a listing?
A. AU$99.95 Inc. GST.
Q. Once I submit my listing how long will it be before it is available for viewing?
A. It will take up to 48 hours for it to be available via the domain you select. We setup your account immediately you submit the listing but the domain needs to propogate around the Internet and this can take from a few minutes to 48 hours. Propogation is beyond our control and is an Internet process that all new domains must go through.
Q. How long will my listing be available for?
A. For up to twelve months or until you remove it. You can remove
the listing at anytime by logging into the listings management area
and electing to have it removed. This information will be sent to
you.
Q. How do I pay for my listing?
A. You pay by credit card or if you are an existing client of www.AusPromotion.com,
you can agree to have us bill your credit card on file. All charges
will be under the name of 'Cybermark Communications'.
Q. How many images can I add to my listing?
A. You can add up to twenty images. The images must be in .jpg format which is the general format used by digital cameras.
Q. Do I need any technical knowledge to submit a listing?
A. No technical knowledge is required. You can either provide us with
the property ID or address where it is at another portal such as realestate.com.au
or you will need to know how to take photos of your property and save
the images to your hard drive in .jpg format. Once you have done that,
the rest is simple and all the submissions are done using your web
browser. We take care of setting up the listing and registering the
domain for your listing.
Q. Can I only list Australian properties?
A. You can list properties for sale or rent from any country in the world. Whilst Smart Properties is a Australian business, listings are not restricted to Australia, we do however bill in Australian dollars.
Q. Can anyone list a property?
A. Yes if you are a private seller you can list a property. If you are a real estate agent or broker you can list on behalf of your client and have enquiries directed to you.
Q. Am I restricted on how long my property description can be?
A. Your property description can be as long as you want it to be.
Q. Do you guarantee my property will sell or rent?
A. No we can't guarantee a sale or a rental. We do however guarantee
we'll have your property online quickly and it will be available to
thousands if not millions of people around the world to see.
Q. Can't I just create my own listing without using the Smart Properties system?
A. Yes you can, providing you have the technical skills to create
web pages, apply for web hosting, register and delegate a domain,
setup SMS leads and setup email accounts. The service we offer eliminates
the need for you to go through such a long and costly learning curve
and our service allows you to advertise your property online quickly.
Q. How do people contact me that are interested in my property?
A. When you setup your listing you can elect to display your phone number or your mobile number. If you do not wish to display phone numbers your listing also displays a contact form. If a prospect submits the form, their details will be sent to you by email and you'll also receive an sms notifying you of the enquiry.
Q. Is there anything I should do in preparation of submitting a listing?
A. Yes have the following available.
The property ID or address where it is at another portal.

Photos of your property saved to your hard drive.
The description of your property already prepared.
